Should I repair or replace my hot water system?

It depends on the unit's age and condition, the fault itself, whether parts are still available, and what the repair costs against a replacement. A tank leaking from the body itself cannot be repaired and needs replacing. We will tell you which situation you are in before you commit to anything.

How long does a hot water system last?

Service life varies with the unit, how it has been maintained and where it sits — units exposed to salt air can have a shorter life. Having the valves and general condition checked as a unit ages helps you plan rather than be caught out.

Why is my hot water running out faster than it used to?

It can be sediment reducing the usable volume in the tank, a valve problem, or an electrical fault inside the unit. We check the plumbing side and tell you if an electrician is needed.

Can you do the electrical work as well?
